The cover of my book is very simple. It is the word ROOM, in all capital letters, going Orange, Red, Green, then Purple. It tells you that this book is about a child, and the way the letters are written, you think that it will be a happy story, with a somewhat creepy or awkward side to it. The letters are very big, making you think the story isn't to serious, and doesn't have a deep and thoughtful message.
Were you able to judge the book by its cover then? Was the theme superficial and childish?
