The external conflict is that there is this girl who is a senior, Darcy Novak, had disapperared. So far there is this other girl, Carli who doesn't go to the same school, but is now enrolled because she is an actress and is undercover at Darcy's school, Winchester, to better understand her role in a film. Carli and Fun, her assistant, work to find Darcy and save her. I do not know how they are going to go about this because I am not that far into the book. Fun is a senior boy who gets into a lot of trouble. He vandalizes property. My guess is that there is an internal conflict with him, if he is getting into a lot of trouble. He gets to work off his punishment (external conflict) by becoming Carli's assistant. (Carli gets an assistant because Winchester is a school of arts and she is an actress.) I agree with this because in a way it is community service.
