Did you enjoy the ending of your book? Why or why not? Describe an alternate ending and why it would or wouldn't be as good a choice as the ending the author chose.

Hush Hush Becca Fitzpatrick Page 188

If I had the chance to talk to one of the characters in my book, I would choose to talk to Patch. Why, you ask? Well he is totally mysterious. He has this deep dark side that Nora cant quite figure out, and I like trying to figure out why the author choose this type of person to put in her book. If I had three questions, to ask Patch, I would ask him, "How did you feel when you found out that the person you were trying to kill was the love of your life?". I would ask this question because I couldn't believe that of all the people, why Nora? What about her makes you want to kill her? Number two, "What were your thoughts on Elliot? Why didn't you kill him from the start?" I would ask this because I didn't like Elliot, I thought he was up to something bad, and when the author told us he was, I wanted to hurt Patch for not doing something about it in the first place. And finally, "Why didn't you like Dabria as much as she liked you?" I would ask this because Dabria was so into Damien, she risked loosing her wings to give him information. She loved him even though he didn't love her. I just don't understand what he didn't like about her.

  1. I also wonder what makes authors put this types of characters into books. What makes them think of such mysterious people? How do they get crazy ideas like this? I think it would be really cool to talk to characters in a book and ask them questions. It would help understand the book better.
