Fallan Stark
Dr. Seuss and Mr. Geisel
Judith and Neil Morgan
pg 17

The book cover is yellow with the title at the top in red capital letters. Below to the right in smaller, black letter says A Biography, so I that I'm reading about the life of Dr. Seuss. Then under it has the authors names in red font. On the bottom left hand corner there is a black and white picture of a sitting man with glasses and slicked back hair. He has his hand in a fist with a pencil wedged between his index and middle finger. That hand is proping his head up, and his elbow rests upon his knee. In his other hand is a piece of paper with a sketch in black and white. His forearm rests on his other knee. There are his characters all around him in black and white. The cat in the hat is standing on his head, the grinch on his shoulder, the star bellied sneetches are on his knee, horton is hiding behind his arm, etc..I can tell that I'm going to learn about Seuss's life and about his characters.
