For One More Day
Mitch Albom
pg. 115

I would speak with Charly since he is the main character of this book. First of all, I would ask how his mom is alive. I don't understand how his mother can be alive and then later in the book he says that she reappears. Is she a ghost or were you dreaming or something? I would also ask if he appreciates his mom or dad more. His dad left when he was little and he didn't understand. His parents also fought all the time which he did not like at all. His parents then seperated and his life started to get off track. The last question I would ask is why he tries to end his life so many times. I understand that he has rough times but he has tried commiting suicide many times and other peoples' lives are in affect as well. I wonder if he has realized yet that his own life is not worth taking.

  1. Hmm... Sounds interesting and depressing all at the same time! Who do you think he appreciates better his mom or his dad? You must have some background knowledge about them like you stated, so what do you think?
