CHADS BLOG!

So far in this book the external conflict is rather obvious. Hampton's father left him when he was young, and his mom is with someone new a lot so he doesn't have a father figure. This could also be tied into the internal conflict. When he has a problem he doesn't know how to solve his own problems so he usually does the wrong thing. He deals with all of this anger and all of his rough emotions on the football field. If he ever has a problem he will usually ask his coaches or his friends. This is a great way to deal with his anger and I think he is doing it correctly. He doesn't directly hurt people or himself. He needs to find a father figure to help him through things.

    It would be very hard not having a father figure, especially in high school. I'm glad your there Chad.
