Did you enjoy the ending of your book? Why or why not? Describe an alternate ending and why it would or wouldn't be as good a choice as the ending the author chose.

Safe At Home
Mike Lupica
I would change the fact that the kid Nick was filling in for, did not get better, therefore he would have still played. That would have kept the book going because it kind of came to a sudden stop. After Nick had played bad, they some how beat the best team to end the book. They sent Nick back to jv and I think they should of had more games with him at the varsity spot. They maybe could have also had Nick not been adopted to see how a better relationship with actual parents would have affected his schooling and basbeall season. It seems like with college professors as his adoptee parents, its just not as fun for him.

  1. I also dislike sketchy plots. I want books to end the way I want them to end.
