Elizabyth Ladwig
Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater
Done with book
The character in my book that changed the most was Grace. In the beginning of the book, she was very orderly and everything had a place. She didn't understand poetry or her mother's art. But after she met Sam face to face for the first time, she started to change. He read her poetry from his favorite author and told her that it wasn't the words that made the story, but the way the words sounded and the feeling you got when you heard them. He brought chaos into her order and unitentionally destroyed it. But it was for the better. In the end Grace becomes a better, more laid back person.

  1. Why do you think that chaos in her life is good for her? Why do you think she understands when Sam reads peotry and not her mom?

  2. Its a good change she went through. I wonder why she didn't understand art when her mother is an artist? Do you think that she likes her new self or would rather go back to being her old self?
