The character that has changed the most in my book is the main character Deet. He had always thought that anything that went wrong in his life could easily be fixed and he so learned that wasn't true. When his step dad got arrested for using illegal drugs that kept him awake while at work Deet realised that it couldn't be fixed easily. He has to help around the house more and he decides to go visit his dad in jail. Deet thinks that it going to be a dark place were everyone is a horrible person but it turns out he was completely wrong. Everyone in jail is just a regular person and has just made a mistake in there life and have a consequence to serve. He learns a lot from prison as he has a new look on life.
