I think that Yuki has changed the most, because of all of the things she went through in this book. She is a lawyer and had a very hard case that she lost, and this was very hard on her. A reporter named Jason Twilly started to take her out on dates, but then he ended up turning into a crazy psycho stalker who would never leave her alone. One night he took her hostage, drugged her, and tried to convince herself to commit suicide. He is a really big freak and had a large impact on her life. She went from being open to everyone and outgoing to being shut down, and making sure she trusted people before she started going on dates with them. The experience changed her life, and in the end made her a stronger person.
