Quarter 1, Blog 6

For One More Day
By: Mitch Albom
Finished Book

I believe the main character of my book changed the most. Charles Benetto is the main character and throughout the whole book he is realizing that he should have done things differently. In the book all he is trying to do is to try to hurt himself...when he finally gets really hurt in a car crash he starts dreaming unconciously and it is about him mom which had died a while back. Throughout the whole dream he is walking with her everywhere and eating with her, he goes to jobs she has and talks to everyone. After a while he starts to realize that everyone she is helping are dying and Charles figures out that maybe he is dying too and so he begins to think back in the past on what he has done. Like how he divorced his wife, let his daughter grow away from him, he thinks about how he could have been a better son and stuck up for his mom when she stuck up for him. Throughout the whole book he starts realizing that he doesn't want to die, but that he wants to go back and fix everything that happened between his wife and his whole family. I think he has changed the most.
