The Hour I First Believed
By: Wally Lamb
Pages: 1-46

I think two characters have changed evenly. Caelum had to go through anger management classes, and woe his wife so that she would stop cheating on him and come back to him. He has over come his fear of going back to teaching, and is now teaching at Columbine high school. He realized this once it got to far. I would say he had changed the most, but he's already starting to go back to his old ways. Velvet is the other character that has changed. She no longer takes boys to the cemetary, and now just goes there to visit her grandfathers grave. She's starting to trust men, even though her childhood is filled with men who betrayed her, and used her. She is now willing to write stories that are graphic, but describe her life well. I think when the Columbine shootings happen, Velvet will go back to trusting no one, and Caelum will have to help her back to her normal self.

  1. That sounds really interesting. Is it like the book Columbine? You know, the one you showed me and suggested to me. It sounds very good and let me know if you like it! :)
