With his last words, Alex's enemy had told him to "go to Venice, find your destiny." Alex is trying to decide if it is worthwhile or not. He is in Venice but having no luck finding SCORPIA, a word that doesn't really mean anything to him yet. He doesn't know if its supposed to be a place or a person, but soon enough, he finds himself chasing a lead. Alex saw a shimmer out of the corner of his eye and, to his surprise, a silver scorpion adorned the side of a boat. He follows the winding canals with some difficulty, but finally ends up at the Ca' Vedora, or house of the widow. It wasn't just a house though, it was a palace. This must be what he's looking for, right? I think Alex is very inventive with his ways of getting himself into sticky situations. He doesn't always think things through but it seems to get him where he's going to anyway. I believe he's doing the right thing looking for SCORPIA to find answers, but it may be more treacherous than he first thought, especially by the way the people react to him when he starts asking too many questions.
