Quarter 1, Blog 5

Blue Moon
Alyson Noel
pg. 198

The setting in my book takes place mostly in the school Ever and Damon go to. Also it takes place at Ever's house, Damon's house, and Summerland. If the setting changed, some of the plot would change. If it wouldn't take place at Ever or Damon's house, Ever would have to find a new place to learn new tricks for being immortal. There is no specific place marked in the school that has to be in the book if the setting changed. The most they talk about the school is when they are in classrooms. As long as part of the setting takes place in a school, it would work out fine. Summerland really doesn't matter if the setting changes because you can just manifest a portal to go there...It doesn't matter where you are at.

  1. What exactly is Summerland? Why wouldn't it change the plot much if they were somewhere else? Does it not have a specific climate, or does it not have a place where something important happens that you could only find there? How exactly can they manifest a portal there? Are they vampires or something more?
