Amber Logemann
Hit and Run
by: Lurlene McDaniel
pg.50-180 finished

The setting of this book takes place in the town of Asheville, North Carolina in present day time, but it is spread out in many places throughout the story. It starts on a cold, dark night in the mountains when the main conflict happens and then switches from the big school of Asheville High to the hospital. The setting is very important especially in the beginning, because if it wasn't dark outside or on a mountain then Quin would've been able to see Analise and wouldn't of hit her. If the setting would have changed then most of the story would be different. If it wasn't placed in the mountains then the main part of the book wouldn't of happened and the book wouldn't be interesting at all.
