Elizabyth Ladwig
Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater
pg. 1-146
Grace, the main character, and I are kind of alike in that neither of us likes summer very much and that we both like to read. But I don't like summer because of the heat and she doesn't like it because she doesn't get to see her wolf in the forest at the edge of her house. She likes to read biographies and I like to read fiction. This book also doesn't relate well to society, since it's about werewolves. But it's not like any other werewolf book I've read before.

  1. First of all I can't believe you don't like summer. I think fiction books are hard to relate to especially if they involve werewolves. Can you relate to other characters or their feelings? Is it possible to compare your dog to a werewolf? Probably not, but maybe they share some of the same characteristics.

  2. I don't really care for summer either!! It is to hot and humid. How come she can't see her wolf in the summer. Is it only a seasonal thing. Is this book mostly about the werewolf or is it about her and her conlicts?
