Change of Heart by Jodi Picoult. End of Book

The antagionst in my book I think is Shay becasue he is the problem in different ways because he killed June's husband but he want's to give her daugter Clarie his heart for heart surguy. So it's kind of like a I know I should take this for my daughter but it's the man that killed my husband why would I want his heart.
She know's she wants it and needs it it's just hard to accept who's heart is.

  1. This sounds like a very intriguing conflict. How did he kill the father/ what happened? Is it something the mother should be angry about or was it an accident? If it was an accident, the mother should probably forgive this man who killed her husband and take the heart. It is his way of asking for forgiveness.

  2. How did Shay kill June's husband? By accident or on purpose? Taking the heart is a way of forgiveness. She needs the heart to live, why would she want to die because of a grudge.
