Vicki Myron
pg. 92
The most important event so far would be finding Dewey. Finding Dewey is the center of the whole story. It's important because Dewey affects every ones lives, and for a cat, that's a big deal. If it weren't for them finding Dewey, the town of Spencer would still be in a slump. He has mainly changed Vicki's life. Vicki had a hard time because her husband left her, and Jodi, her daughter, doesn't rely on her anymore. Now she has some one who needs her, helping her get her life back on track.
Dewey is a cat and affecting lives? I do not quite understand the plot of the book I guess, but it sounds like fiction. Can Dewey talk? Does the author use personification while describing Dewey? I would think that the fact that Vicki's husband left her would be a main event as well. It sounds like it was the wholke reason for Jodi getting off track in the first place.
ReplyDeleteBelieve it or not, Dewey is a real cat in Spencer, and the book is based on a true story.
