Social activism would be the external conflict. Romantic Individualism would be the internal conflict. The main character (doesn't have a name) tries making people more knowledgeable about what chaos is happening in the world. He has to change himself in order to change peoples opinions. I agree with making people more knowledgeable, but I would not enjoy changing myself for someones opinion.
