In my book the antagonist is a group of people against Hunter, the protagonist. These are Sanson and the new secretary to the governor at Port Royal, Hackett. Hackett is an arrogant guy that only isn't killed by now because of the position he holds in the government. Hackett is Hunter's antagonist because he thinks Hunter is a pirate. Hunter somewhat is but the Governor has always thought highly of Hunter. This brings special opportunities for Hunter to go on excursions that the government helps pay for. Sanson, the other antagonist of Hunter wants the treasure for himself. Because of this he does everything possible to either leave Hunter behind or get him arrested. He is a greedy liar that always tries to get his way even if he's wrong.

In my book the antagonist are the pain pills that he is addicted too, He loves them and he is the only one who sees how much he is into them. His parents just think that he is under so much stress and pain that he is just going thru his meds. When they are stupid! Because obviously he is just popping them! Because he acts normal and fine because he is but he's telling his parents a different story. But being the normal believing everything my kid tells me parents they didnt realize it. So we'll see what happens next!

the antagonist is president snow. he is tall as white hair and he organizes the games where people kill each other. he is also a blackmailer he threatens katniss's life and family if she doesn't do want he wants her to do. he is all knowing he knows what people are doing in all 12 disricts. he knows that people are favorites of katniss and peeta and if he doe do anything to them then there will be a revolt. he is opposing katniss because he thinks peeta and her love is just an act and it is starting a revolt against the capitol.

The Glass Castle

The antagonist in my book is Jeannette's dad and also his mother, Erma. The traits they both have are determination, frightening, and shameful. The protagonist in this book is Jeannette, his daughter. Jeannette's dad (they have not gave him a name) is opposing Jeannette because he is always listening to his mother, Erma because if he does not then they will not be able to live with her anymore. Jeannett's parents one day left to go back to their old house in Phoenix to pick up things they had left behind while they were going to Erma's house. While they were on their trip, Erma was doing inappropriate things with her grandson. Lori had walked into the room and starting hitting and punching Erma and Erma retaliated and they got into a huge fight. Their grandfather walked into the room to break they fight up (he was a quiet man). Then, once the fight was over, all of the kids were forced to go down to the basement and live there for the next few days until their parents came back and then they had to move out of the house. When their parents finally came back, their dad had found out what had happened from Erma and he went down to the basement and started yelling at his kids. Saying it was all their faults they got sent to the basement and they should not disobey their grandmother. Their father was too busy listening to Erma's side of the story that he did not give the time of day to their kids and actually listen to what really happened that day. So, they all had to move out the next day. The kids were relieved they did not have to deal with Erma anymore, but they still had their dad to deal with. They would hope maybe he would get a little nicer and less demanding now that he was away from his mother.

I would say that Nicks antagonist could be himself or baseball. Nick is really struggling with himself and moving up to the varsity team. He is trying to hard to prove himself to the team, and he will not just play the game. Therefore, baseball could be the conflict. Protagonist would be Nick, the main character with the problem. Nick is trying to get his coach to send him back to JV, but the coach is making him work hard, and helping him after practice so have that spot. Nick needs to stop fighting himself and play the game.

Much like the one in the movie Beauty and the Beast. Kyle, the main character, used to be perfect. He was tall, had blond hair, blue eyes, and a perfect complexion. His dad was also a famous newscaster, so he had money too. But then he made the mistake of making fun of a witch. (He didn't know she was a witch.) Then she turned him into a beast. He hated himself and thought he was going to be that way for the rest of his life, since the only way to break the curse was to get a girl to fall in love with, and kiss him. He thought that all that mattered in the world was looks and money. He thought his life would be miserable. But then he started appreciating the little things in life, like beautiful roses, and books. Because he had nothing else to do. If he went outside he would be hunted down. But then he meets Lindy. Well, he kind of forces her to live with him, since her father broke into his house, and Lindy staying there with Kyle was going to be his payment to Kyle so Kyle didn't turn him in. Kyle learns to love Lindy, and in this process, he becomes a better person and actually cares for the people around him.

The antagonists in this book are the Mogadorians which are an alien race. They have strength, hatred, and determination. They started out by nearly destroying the Lorien race (another alien group). The reason these aliens started to attack the Loriens years ago is still not given in the book. However, now they are going against them to completely destroy all Loriens. If the remaining Garde (aliens with special powers) get their powers before the mogadorians catch them they will be able to fight back against them. The Garde members don't completely have their powers yet so they have to stay hidden. The Mogadorians want them dead (for no specific reason why) so they continue to hunt them on Earth. The catch is that they may only hunt the nine Garde members in order of their numbers starting with one and going to nine. John is number four and is the one who is hunted now. He is the protagonist at this point and must stay out of sight from the Mogadorians or they will simply kill him on the spot to continue to eliminate the Lorien race.
