Richie perry i would say changed the most I this story. I would say this because he had to fight threw a lot in this story. First of all his mother is an alcoholic and his family was to poor to put him threw college. So he did everything in his power to try to make it into school. So he joins the army he does this along the way. Threw out this story he grows up and realizes there a lot he can do in his life than go to college. Even thought college is a good thing for people Richie realizes that not good for him.
